Why did Desmond Tutu receive the Marion Dnhoff Prize, even so the price is mainly for east-european activists?
As the world becomes more violent, the Europeans concoct more peace prizes to hand out. Has anyone noticed a correlation between creation of these prizes, along with the increasing pivity of the European governments and the increase in violence throughout the world, including on the streets of the European's own cities. One has to wonder if their obsession with non-violence is simply an overreaction to world war two and a way to shirk their responsibility for creating the colonial situations and borders that have caused it in the first place.
