Are the beaches in Bodrum (Turkey) sandy or pebble?

We have both sandy and rocky beaches along the coast here. I don't like Gumbet beach it is not one of the cleanest of our beaches. I do suggest Yahsi beach that is where all the locals go and it is much nicer then Gumbet. Bitez normally is very nice as well but the dredged the area this winter so whether it will settle down by summer I don't know. Bodrum is a great vacation you will enjoy it so go ahead and book and soak up the sunshine, Check out the Joshua& Yacht for a daily boat trip they are great!! Have a nice vacation
