Sent her IMs on Aim and want to take them back?

the grl i used to like IMed me about why i have been ignoring her and i poured my guts apologizing but i regret it cuz i dont want to sound desperate. since she was offline when i sent it will she receive it? can i delete the sent messages? if not what should i say to make my apology sound less desperate?
