What's the best city/town to live in the UK?

The uk or england? if england, london of course but is expensive, leeds is ok, plenty to do, shops, bars, manchester same ,bristol is ok too, plenty to do, good nightlife in bristol etc, good shoppin centres, also cardiff or swansea, in south wales (wales in the uk) is a good city, plenty to do, not far from beaches, shops, clubs.
