FireFox stops working?

About once every week my FireFox stops working completely, and by that I mean the pages refuse to load and sometimes the program won't even start. When this happens it isn't a problem with my internet as I can still go online with other programs (such as iTunes) or run my torrents. Restarting the program or computer did not work and I had to resort to uninstalling the program, running ccleaner, and reinstalling to get it to work again. Unfortunately this seems to be a temp fix because about a week later the program stops working again and I have no clue what is wrong with it. I scanned the computer with Kaspersky and Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware multiple times and have come up with nothing that explains the issue. I'm too computer illiterate to figure out what to do with it, any help would be greatly appreciated.
